SAN  JUANITO

San Juanito is an indigenous Ecuadorian musical genre of Andean music. Very popular at the beginning of the 20th century, it is a genre originating in the province of Imbabura. The "San Juanito" has a pre-Inca origin, that is, it exists before the Spanish conquest. SanJuan is a dance or musical genre belonging to the San Juan Festival.
